Why can’t I resist a challenge?
Am I a masochist?
Another poem every day –
what’s new?
I do it anyway.
Thanks to Richard Walker‘s comment on my Last day of Haiku Heights September Challenge post, I found myself drawn into a new prompt-a-day poem-a-day challenge, Octpowrimo. Today’s prompt is Question? I may not last the month…

Great, see you there.
Got a laugh out of this poem. I think I can identify with each line except the last two since I haven’t written a poem in . . . . oh man. . . . several months. OctPoWriMo should be a breeze for you!
I look forward to reading your poetry.
WOW! Familiar names I have missed!!! Ohmigawsh, how I have missed your words…
And that said, perhaps we ought to wake up singing, “What poem wants to be written through me today!”
That made me smile. Thanks.
I mean, isn’t the ultimate goal anyway to be writing one per day? I think you’re ahead of the curve.
I want to read the poem you’d write about masochism!
Um!
Hahaha–that’s how I felt about it too! Glad you’re along for the ride–love your poetry.
Lol – Cute!
You’re a masochist!
You don’t need a challenge, you need someone to hold you back
Indeed you are right, Tilly!
OctPoWriMo…. oh no, and I’m already a day behind!
