Dear Aunty Swift,
Arrived in the North
after long stormy flight.
Lodgings good
wide ledges high
in sheltered car port.
Lots of flies to eat -
only snag, a pesky cat.
Wish you were here
Love
Martin

The bird is charming, and so is his letter home. Thank you for brightening my day.

What more can I add to all the other comments. This is wonderful and you certainly made alot of us smile broadly today. Thanks for the terrific bird’s eye view!!
Hello. Thanks for visit. An LP is a lesson plan. An ILP is an individualized LP. I barely survived the jargon of my profession. LOL. Thanks for prompt I add a footnote.
I came looking for humor and was rewarded. Thank you! I chuckled out loud.
I wrote more out of angst peppered with hope, I hope.

Thank-you. Had a great chuckle and your choice of speaker made me consider I seldom – if ever – think to write from a perspective other than human. Thank-you!
Lovely…On one of my walks there is a bird station where they monitor migrations from North to South…The birds are heading SOuth now so people out with long lenses hoping to catch a shot!!
You certainly raised a smile here as well as out right laughter. Thank you, Viv, you are amazing,

Totally different take, swiftus literatus! Wonderful.
Viv, I love this.
Have you thought about putting together a collection of your nature poetry?
It’s fairly full already
Quite excellent, and a wonderful way to start off my morning — with a SMILE!!
Thank you Misky. I’ve just read yours – what a coincidence! Not much golf in these parts, but lots of good food (the flies have gone now – Martin ate them all).
Thank you for the smile – the principal aim of my poeming is to raise smiles!
